This Is Africa Initiative is their charitable sector, the project offers the services of our enterprise programmes to primary and secondary schools in East Africa whose learning environments differ greatly from ours in the UK, and whose opportunities for further education are limited.

We’ve produce a minimal christmas tree illustration, which is derived from their three block logo, printed in metallic ink and embossed to give an effective finish.

Referrals and recommendations are at the core of any new business we secure, so when Cliveden Trading were recommended to contact us for their new branding requirements we were delighted! The project initially was to produce a brand new logo and identity along with a corporate brochure (as above), including all copywriting, required for a trade event. After impressing with the speed and quality of our work, we are now working on the stationery, presentations and website.

Hot on the heals of our first Kindle book cover artwork comes another one, this time for author Faye Meredith and her latest novel The Hoodie and the Humpback. Faye provided us with a detailed scamp for us to follow and some ideas on typography and it was a pleasure to work on it.

Sometimes design projects are like buses… you know the rest. Here are some more business cards we’ve just produced, for legendary French perfumer, Diptyque. Using a classic design style and printed on a beautiful Fedrigoni paper stock, Tintoretto Gresso. Looks elegant and feels luxurious.
We’ve recently finished the business card design for our new client, Corrade, as well as producing the initial design options and final artwork we’ll be managing the printing. We’ve chosen a beautiful heavyweight board (640gsm – twice as thick as a standard card) to give a lasting and professional impression.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our latest website, for a full service shipping company MMD (Shipping Services) Ltd. The design was produced in the same layout style as their sister company Portsmouth International Port to give the two websites consistency.

Here’s our latest piece of advertising creative, it’s for Lead Generation company, Lead Forensics. Their software can identify every business visitor to a website by using unique IP tracking software. The creative is being used in adverts, HTML email campaigns and exhibition banner displays at the Web Fuelled Business events, run by Dragon, Doug Richards.
We’ve just finished and sent to print our first Annual Report of the year and we’re very pleased with the outcome. A simple design layout utilised the images to maximum effect and using digital printing to produce a professional and cost-effective finish.

Here’s the latest design we’ve produced for Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools. It promotes their Birthday party packages. We’ve working with Jigsaw for over four years now, helping them establish a distinctive brand look across all of their advertising, leaflets, direct mail etc.
We’ve been asked by Cornerways Medical Health to help them produce materials for a new government initiative which encourages patients to engage with the surgery and get feedback to help them improve. We gave the initiative a name ‘Health Matters’ to give it an identity and produced A4 and A3 posters, an information leaflet and feedback form. We’ve used a ‘speech bubble’ concept to convey the idea of patients ‘having a voice’ and to encourage them to talk.
John Hinde International have asked us to put together their new product brochure for 2012, the project includes design, on- and off-site photography and a glossy printed brochure. They also want the brochure adapting for single page adverts. The range of new products includes these loveable ‘Wood Buddies’ flexible wooden toys.
We’re now back in the office and raring to go after overdosing on turkey, mince pies and roses chocolates! Talking of food, is it time for lunch? Oh yes, my turkey sandwich awaits! Wishing everyone a great 2012!
We been creating some poster designs here at Flatfive as we wind-down for Christmas. Felix Fund asked us to produce a design for an ‘empty’ poster where fundraisers can insert their own event details and display them to raise awareness when fundraising for the charity. We came up with a bold and impactful design, a brand style that we’ve been establishing for them, to standout from the crowd. Also available in a ‘ink-freindly’ version!

We’ve just finished setting the artwork for the 390-page paperback version of the book ‘The Devil’s Double’ – the first installment in the true life story of the man forced to become the Double for Saddam Hussein’s eldest son. We were delighted to be asked by Intelligent Health to produce a range of collateral promoting their new healthcare ‘referral pathway’- My Best Move. The collateral includes a 38 page manual, descriptive showcards and questionnaires.
